The healing plan may include talking therapy, mindfulness practices like meditation, mindful art therapy depending on the client’s requirement and type of wound.

MINDFULNESS TEACHING

Mindfulness is no longer just a spiritual practice; it is also a way of living a healthy lifestyle. Our behavioural patterns, modes of actions and responses are reflections of our subconscious belief system. Hence, each moment presents an opportunity to witness and introspect our behaviour, roots of our suffering and pain. 


Mindful people understand the cause & effect of the choices they make in life.  As a result, they are highly capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for their actions. Furthermore, understanding their own flaws make them appreciate and accept others more easily which are the strengths of their wisdom, empathy and compassion. 


I am highly inspired by the Buddha’s teaching of ‘Right Mindfulness’. I find that this concept is applicable to everyone, regardless of the culture & belief. In my session, I teach the meditative practice of mindfulness along with its implications in day-to-day life. 


ART THERAPY

Mandala has a long history in eastern philosophy & religion. The word mandala means ‘circle’. It is considered as a representation of wholeness. The process of mandala creation is both therapeutic and meditative. The repetitive patterns, shapes, symmetries and colours help to connect with inner self and subconscious mind which allows to recognise the disturbances and suffering in a person.  The central point of the mandala is considered the subject matter from which the journey unfolds towards different directions. 


Using mandala as a healing modality is a very intuitive process where the colours and designs are not pre-determined. Being open to flow with intuition, observing thoughts & emotions & releasing negative energies invites calmness, clarity & balance. 


This session has to be booked in two weeks advance. Upon receiving the booking confirmation, a list of art materials needed for this session will be shared with the client. 

Unconditional self acceptance is an essential prerequisite for self love.
